Practical Application of Intellectual Property Rights in the fields of Software, IT, Engineering & Nano Technology

Patent Systems, worldwide, have seen significant changes in recent times, particularly in the fields of Information Technology, Computer Science, Software, Engineering, and Nanotechnology and we feel that people working in these areas need to be specially vigilant in protecting their IP rights.

For over 60 years, we, at R K Dewan & Co, have been providing legal assistance to individuals, institutions and corporates for creating and protecting intellectual property rights. In this process we have acquired considerable experience in this field.

In the course of our interaction with Industrial houses, Government institutions, R & D units and Individual Inventors, we found that there is an urgent need to disseminate information & practical working knowledge to all persons including individuals at the helm of affairs, legal professionals, researcher scientists and analysts, technical officers, engineers, production teams, senior management executives and the like. Patents are likely to affect all of us in some or the other walk of life.

Also, because the numbers of patent applications have increased, Industry and Research & Development entities must ensure that they are not infringing any patents, avoid litigation and protect their own innovation in their respective fields. This is possible only through correct knowledge and effective use of the patent system.

With this objective in mind, we have carefully structured a two-day intensive workshop for sharing our experiences in understanding the intricacies involved.
