A registered advocate with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa and a member of the Bombay Bar Association, she brings over eleven years of expertise in Intellectual Property with a focus on trademark law, copyright, contract drafting & negotiation, and strategic IP advisory. Laxmi advises clients on IP strategy & portfolio management, IP protection, brand development, trademark and copyright registration and prosecution, opposition proceedings, dispute resolution & mediation for both domestic and international clientele.
As a former Hearing Officer at the Indian Intellectual Property Office, Laxmi has presided over trademark opposition & rectification proceedings. She actively attends pre-litigation meditation, IP settlement, and negotiation processes, offering clients a strategic edge in dispute resolution.
Laxmi holds dual master’s degrees and an M.Phil. in Law, with her research focused on Well-known Trademarks in India. She is frequently invited to IPR training sessions, workshops, and legal education programs, and remains engaged in Well-known Trademark matters.
